Roles And Responsibilities

The Database Administrator position is responsible for developing and maintaining data-driven applications for J.Lodge clients. The position reports to the Director of Database Administration position and will be expected to work in a cross-functional environment with other J.Lodge personnel..

  • Documentation of new application concepts and ideas
  • Assessment of new application concepts and ideas
  • Research of new application concepts and ideas
  • Development of new application features (coding/programming using JavaScript variant)
  • Testing of new application features

Qualification and Education Requirements

  • Excellent computer and math skills
  • Ability to work in teams.
  • Extensive working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of best practices in software documentation
  • Software Project management experience
  • Strong work ethic/self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, working smarter vs. harder
  • Critical thinking and problem solving, thinking outside of the box
  • Disciplined to work independently but able and willing to work as a team
  • Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics background.
  • Four year degrees in programming with emphasis on database design preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with developing with a Low Code App Development Platform
  • Knowledge of CSS and User Interface Design
